Q: Why do I need a Public Networks account to apply for a job on Pinpoint Leader?
A: Public Networks is a new account management website that has been developed by GatenbySanderson. This account can be used to apply for any role on Pinpoint Leader or GatenbySanderson.
Q: If I already have a GatenbySanderson account do I need to sign up for a Public Networks account?
A: No your existing details will still work; however once you log in you will be provided with additional options.
Q: I think I may have a GatenbySanderson account already but I don’t remember my details, what should I do?
A: You can either use the forgotten password link, or alternatively you can create a new account by filling in the registration form on http://www.public-networks.com.
Q: I tried to create a new account but it says my email address is already registered, why is this?
A: This means that at some point you have registered for a GatenbySanderson account with your email address, use the forgotten password link to retrieve your details.
Q: How are Pinpoint Leader and GatenbySanderson related to each other?
A: Pinpoint Leader has been developed by GatenbySanderson to increase the number of roles that can be advertised and help find more people the perfect job.
Q: Can I apply for a job on Pinpoint Leader?
A: No this is just a job listing website, if you are interested in any of the roles click the ‘apply now’ button and you will be taken to the relevant website to apply.
Q: Once I have shortlisted a job how do I retrieve it?
A: If you are logged in you can retrieve your shortlisted jobs via the link on the right hand side of the page or alternatively by logging into your account on Public Networks.
Q: What does it mean if I save a search?
A: Saving a search means saving all of the criteria you used when performing a search. Therefore it is possible that the results will be different each time you run your saved search as more jobs pass their closing date or get added to the site. If you are logged in you can access you saved searches via the link on the right hand side of the page or alternatively by logging into your account on Public Networks.
Q: What is the difference between featured and non-featured jobs?
A: None, all of the featured jobs are relevant to your search; however we have simply chosen to feature a number of jobs that we think are more interesting.
Q: I am looking for a job, but not sure what sector it is in, what should I do?
A: Either select a number of sectors to return more results, or leave all of the checkboxes unchecked to search all sectors.
Q: How are the results from ‘see more jobs like this’ created?
A: We use a number of factors based on the currently selected job to provide these search results, including sector, level of responsibility and keywords to hopefully provide you with a more accurate set of results.
Q: What if I can’t find any jobs that suit me?
A: Keep coming back to the site as we are regularly adding more jobs to the database.
Q: Does this website have an accessibility policy?
A: Pinpoint Leader is provided by GatenbySanderson who are committed to providing accessing to everyone on their websites. We believe that people of all abilities should be able to access all of the content within this site. However if you do find that you have a problem with any aspect of this site please let us know via our contact form and we will work with you to find an alternative solution while we update the website.
